Smart phone apps provide a fun and easy motivation for outdoor activities. How far did you run and how fast? Have your biking speeds improved? How far did you walk your dog? How many miles to paddle the shore of Lake Francis in Pittsburgh, NH? What was your hiking speed into Carter Hut from the Nine-mile Brook trailhead? Can your spouse/friends locate you are on a remote wilderness trek? Bedford, NH author and outdoor enthusiast Steve Priest will share his use of desktop and smart phone technology in planning and doing his outdoor adventures. If time permits, Steve will describe development of his outdoor blog, YouTube, pictures, and web links. Steve encourages audience members to share their outdoor experience with technology. Bedford Community Television will be filming the presentation.
