The blog is intended for outdoor enthusiasts and families to share: 1) Outdoor events and places of outdoor interest in northern New England, 2) Comment to posts, questions, answers, and tips on fun in the outdoors.

For purposes of this blog, outdoor enthusiasts (OE) are persons interested in any recreational outdoor activity, such as hiking, paddling, XC skiing, snowshoeing, bicycling, running, triathlons, orienteering, biathlons, boomeranging, golfing, and horseshoes.
